petty and repetitive gestures

that promise miraculous 

transformations,

to the two-faced instruments of Beauty,

both traitors or caretakers,

women are glorified.

As many idealized images

as tensions carried along,

towards a female ideal that,

in reality, doesn't fit anyone.

Superficial and vain.
